Interzoo 2010 was bigger, better and a huge success for The Company of AnimalsTraining and behaviour expert, The Company of Animals, is celebrating its best Interzoo yet as the International Trade Fair for Pet Supplies saw a record number of visitors this year.
There were more than 38,000 trade visitors to the four-day show in Nuremberg, Germany showing that, unlike other industries, the pet supplies market is thriving despite the economic downturn.
The Company of Animals’ Head of International Sales, Tony Molton, comments: “The feedback we received from Interzoo 2010 was phenomenal and proves that, even though we are in difficult economic times, people are still prepared to pay for quality pet products. Despite the recession we’ve seen our European sales rocket with a 25 per cent increase on 2009 across 27 countries.”
Tony continues, “Interzoo 2010 was a fantastic opportunity for us to meet our customers as part of our ongoing commitment to client support and the new products we showcased, along with our rebranding, received a massive thumbs up all round!”
The new products launched at Interzoo were; No Bark Collars that discourage barking by using vibration or noise, Pet Corrector to interrupt unwanted behaviour by emitting a ‘hiss’ of compressed air, Marrowchews - the world’s first dual-flavoured dog chew, and Rattle & Reward training treats that come in a very clever little tin. And the new CLIX training lines proved a popular addition to the CLIX range from Company of Animals.
The Company of Animals has focused on improving its support to retailers and, as a result, launched new ‘clam shell’ packaging and a range of point of sale material available in five different languages. In addition the new re-branded exhibition stand made an impact with its colourful ‘stand out from the crowd’ branding, showcasing the company’s in-store DVDs.
The Company of Animals has also redesigned its website making it even easier to use and it’s now full of downloadable marketing and point of sale material to further support retailers.
