A lovely little Staffordshire Bull Terrier "Ziin" has been reunited with her owner after being seized by the police in November 2009. She was seized following an incident outside her home where she bit a man on his leg, much to her distraught owner's dismay. Ziin was brought here to the Centre at the beginning of March for a thorough assessment of her behaviour by Dr Mugford, in order to determine whether she could safely be returned to her owner.
The assessment involved Ziin meeting other dogs, people and livestock and to all of which she was delightful and friendly. As a result, Dr Mugford concluded that Ziin could be returned to her owner with a control order (that she must be muzzled and held on a 2 metre lead when in public) to which the Magistrates agreed. Ziin was reunited with her ecstatic owner on 14th April.
