Trainer
Kirsten has been with the Animal Behaviour Centre for over two years. As well as running classes, workshops and seeing private clients she co-ordinates the Assistant Trainers and works in the office taking bookings and dealing with general enquiries.
Kirsten developed and runs the Kids Club during school holidays, it focuses on promoting good relations between children and their dogs and teaching the children on a level they can understand. Having two children of her own (a girl aged 9 and a boy of 7) and along with her dogs, a 3 year old terrier/collie cross and a two year old English Mastiff, she gets lots of practise! Kirsten has also successfully completed APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) approved courses 'Think Dog' and 'Talk Dog' is a member of The Guild of Dog Trainers and is a voluntary trainer for Dog AID (Assistance in Disability). She is currently undertaking a degree in Canine Behaviour.
